ALL THE MORE

ALL THE MORE

The crowd sternly told them to be quiet, but they cried out all the more, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!” (Matthew 20:31)

How much do you want Christ? How often do you want to think of Him? Talk to Him? Be filled by Him and under His leadership and control? How much do you need His healing and help? His leadership and guidance? His understanding and wisdom? His power and grace?

Do you want to be usable to Him so He can flow through you like rivers of living water? As Adrian Rogers once said, “I don’t know how much of God you have, but I know you have all you want.”

CRYING OUT

A large crowd was following Jesus, and two blind men were sitting by the road. They knew the Messiah who was healing people was passing by and they cried out for mercy and help.

People “sternly told them to be quiet,” but the Bible records that they “cried out all the more.” Jesus heard their cry and healed them, and they “regained their sight and followed Him” (Matthew 20:34).

If you long to experience more of Christ, to be more surrendered, more set apart, more focused on His purposes, and living more for His glory … regardless of what prognosticators and cynics may say, just cry out “all the more.” He never refuses a humble, fervent cry.
