The Highest Place contained the One
Who thought it good and right,
To lay aside His Godly powers
And come to us this night.
Chorus
Oh wondrous night!
Earth’s holiest night!
God came, with us to dwell;
To take upon Himself our sin
And save from death and hell!
The angels watched with breathless joy
The birth of God’s dear Son
“It’s time; go tell the people now”
“Proclaim that He has come!”
The Shepherds feared, then ran with haste
To see what angels told;
This babe upon the manger’s hay
Would one day save the world!
And Mary, pondered all these things
And treasured every one.
This child conceived of God in her
She knew was God’s own Son!
And as you gaze upon this sight
What will you do with Him,
Who came to set the captives free
And save you from your sin?
Oh, kneel in wonder at this sight
And fall upon your face,
And trust Him as your Lord and King
Delivered by His grace!

There are adjustments that must be made if you desire to live in the presence of God all day long. There must be a turning from and a turning to.
