Every significant task on earth requires training. The homemaker, the accountant, the pastor, the CEO all must learn somewhere and somehow. To do life in the way God intends requires training, and God Himself, our Father, is the master trainer.

COOPERATING WITH GOD’S TRAINING

If you are a parent you are in the constant process of training, whether you realize it or not. You are training your child one way or another. In the best homes the training is Biblical and intentional. This training involves instruction, reproof, correction, and discipline that is given with loving consistency. In the same ways, our heavenly Father is always training us.

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN HURT?

If you look closely, there are probably some broken places in your heart where you have never accepted God’s sovereign working and thanked God. There are people that you still need to forgive and release to from your courtroom (where you are judge, jury, and executioner) to God’s courtroom. As you do, you will discover that nothing can really hurt the true, forgiving believer for their God works “all things together for good” for His purposes to conform them to the image of His Son!
