For the followers of Christ, civil disobedience is similar but very different. The true Christian is committed to a higher God and his higher law. When a believer is asked to do something that is clearly contrary to Scripture, they have the right and responsibility to disobey human authority to be faithful to a higher God.

The world takes notice of courageous leaders. The war in Ukraine is led by a man (Zelensky) who has become a recognized leader precisely because of his unselfish, but persistent courage. The Ukrainian people are winning battles that, on paper, they should not be winning. Their leader is courageous, and it is inspiring them to be the same.

It’s one of the most disgraceful terms in human language. It describes one who lacks courage in the face of a problem or difficulty and can be applied to a young boy or a dying man at the end of his life.
The ultimate coward was Judas, who betrayed Christ. As we study him, we see the defining characteristics of a cowardly life.
