If you are a follower of Christ, you can recount multiple blessings from God’s gracious work in your salvation. Eternal life, the presence of the Holy Spirit, rich rewards, an heir and joint heir with Christ, eternal security, the ability to commune with God through His Word and prayer, real purpose … and on and on.
But there is one blessing you might overlook, and it is most important.
God has things for you to do that no one else can do. You may not believe this, nor even want it at this point. But it is true. And the most blessed people are those who embrace God’s plan.
When we are filled with God, by His Spirit's indwelling, we begin to understand the purpose for our lives on this earth. On Pentecost, tongues like fire fell along with God’s Spirit on the fledgling believers. They immediately began to speak of Christ in languages they did not know. And, by God’s design, the place was filled with people who were hearing the gospel in their native tongue.
