If Joseph had resisted God’s sovereign work in his life, he would have died a bitter man. He would have taken revenge against his brothers at his earliest opportunity. He would have been like any other self-absorbed human. And, his life would not have saved millions and taught all of us what a man who follows God fully looks like.
But, he let God be God, orchestrating the events of his life and resting in a faith in God's rightness and inherent goodness. And so should we.

If you look closely, there are probably some broken places in your heart where you have never accepted God’s sovereign working and thanked God. There are people that you still need to forgive and release to from your courtroom (where you are judge, jury, and executioner) to God’s courtroom. As you do, you will discover that nothing can really hurt the true, forgiving believer for their God works “all things together for good” for His purposes to conform them to the image of His Son!
