"Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, the God who is our salvation. God is to us a God of deliverances; and to God, the Lord belong escapes from death." (Psalm 68:20-21)
God is not changed by our thoughts. He is who He is regardless of our beliefs. The atheist does not affect the reality of God, nor the agnostic or unbelieving.
But what are you experiencing of God? How much of Him are you tasting? What are you able to tell others about God? Adrian Rogers said, “I don’t know how much of God you have, but I can tell you this, you have all you want.”
David drank deeply of the riches of God. He came daily, hourly to the Lord for help and comfort, strength and protection, and always found His Father sufficient. He came in Psalm 68 amid great turmoil expressing some of what He knew of God.
To David, the Lord was One who "daily bears our burden and "who is our salvation. God "TO US" is a God of deliverances," David sang. He was experiencing this as He turned in trust and cast his burdens upon the Lord.
You can carry your burdens yourself. You have some right now. You will have days of small, multiple burdens and great, overwhelming burdens. Who carries those? Who bears the weight of them? For David, the burden bearer was God. He offloaded them to shoulders far bigger than His. And God (who is always faithful) delivered him, over and over again. In fact, every day.
How much of God are you experiencing today? You can have all you want.

When our faith is sufficient to lead us to actually follow God’s plan, we will always see that it is “good, acceptable, and perfect.” These words, as always, are important.

God knows what He is about. Always include in your request the greatest prayer—the prayer of surrender. “Lord, Your will be done.” This is the prayer, when humbly prayed, that will always be answered and yield the most valuable result from the God who loves us best ... even if the answer is hard.

Every created man or woman must make their choice. What will you do with God? Will you embrace or reject Him? Draw near or run away? Trust and serve Him or doubt God and serve yourself? This foundational choice determines everything.
